Took a while to buff the stuff off, but well worth it in the end imo!

Wow, that’s a good looking car.

Lol.
Ye, at this time of the year some QDs can be problematic especially on black and dark colours.
Gyeon Cure is a good one and buffs off really easily in most conditions.

As I have discovered today, I used about 6 cloths doing! Was just some Simonz stuff I had already. I shall look at this Gyeon Cure stuff you speak of, is it pricey?

Going by the shine of the paint, I think you managed quite well.
I really like these 3 door Leons, sadly most of them have 5 doors.
Does it have the flat bottom steering wheel? We used one of those when we built a car at university, and I really liked the way it felt.

turned out mega rad! That is some good SVENDing.

Thanks, yeah the 3 door and the ST (estate) are definitely better looking the normal 5 door ones.
Yeah it has a lovely nappa leather covered flat bottomed steering wheel, is nice and chunky and a pleasure to hold!

It turned out alright.
Also it is getting the full SVENDing in the spring by the great man himself, my god the shine will be blinding!

For Piglet I use about four for the whole car.
Other than Gyeon Cure. There is Adam’s H2o Guard & Gloss, applied to a wet car via a damp MF and buffed with a dry MF can be used on paint, glass and plastic. Works a treat on the scuttle panel at the bottom of the windscreen.
https://www.prestigecarcareshop.com/collections/all-exterior/products/adams-h2o-guard-gloss
It’s £14.99 for a 400ml bottle. Use code DW10 to get 10% off.
Here’s a little video for more help.
Looks great on red

Thank you very much sir, I shall look in to getting some of that!

Lol. All I do is deep clean (de-grease, de-tar and de-iron) and put a protective coat on. Nothing fancy, just more time consuming than a regular clean.

I’ve always liked the Leon, I just can’t have one. I can’t face the call to my insurers to tell them my name is Leon and I drive a Leon.
Would you drive an Andy if one existed?
![]() 12/29/2016 at 12:57 |

I can see your problem, I think I would own a car called an Andy though if I really liked it, I’m sure there must be people called Leon who drive a Leon!

I have a friend who always orders a Rogan Josh if we go for a curry, of course his name is Josh, as the kids say “I literally can’t even”

LOL, that is just a bit sad!
